Every year, our generous and supportive parent community comes together and raises money for SPARK – the Larkspur-Corte Madera Schools Foundation which provides funding for programs at our three schools. This year is no different, and our goal is $1.4M.
Our schools are community-funded and revenues that our District receives from the State and other sources do not cover all the expenses needed for our over 1,500 students – leaving us with a significant funding gap.
As educators, we are committed to our District’s focus of doingWhatever it Takes! to meet the needs of each and every student. We are incredibly grateful that funding from SPARK allows us to offer a robust K-8 curriculum with music, art, science and technology as well as the District priorities this year - CGI Mathematics, engineering and robotics through Project Lead the Way and mindfulness/social-emotional learning.
We invite you to make a gift to SPARK and join our efforts to support our students so they can continue to receive a top-notch educational experience.
Excellent schools need everyone’s support. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Michelle Walker, Principal
