We need YOUR support! We are nearly halfway to this year’s goal! Currently, only 44% of students have pledges... nearly 231 students have $0 donations. While we have a financial goal of raising $70,000 for our school, 100% participation is a goal too! Please contribute ANY amount on the 99pledges page, or directly via the PTO’s site (be sure to add child name/teacher).
Parents... please post your child’s 99pledges individual link to your social media, or have your children call and email friends and family asking them to support them and all the amazing reading they are doing!

The last day for pledges is Monday, February 11th. Go Cove Readers!
Global School Play Day: Cove will be participating in the 5th Annual Global School Play Day (#GSPD2019) on Wednesday, February 6th. This first started as a grassroots efforts by a small group of educators to make the world aware of the research on the importance of unstructured play in childhood development. Last year, over 388,439 students celebrated Global School Play Day. Students will engage in play with toys that do NOT require batteries or electricity. No devices! This is a student-led day of play and adults/ teachers do not interfere with students unless they see something unsafe.
With our district emphasis on fostering the social/emotional well-being of our children, we embrace opportunities like Global School Play Day to infuse our school with the happiness and connection that play inspires.
