And, on Friday, at our assembly we will recognize all staff with envelopes full of cards!
You can:
Sign banner in the gallery (by Wednesday, May 8th)
Make a card at home for your teacher/s (give directly to the teacher/s)
Make a card for any other staff members you want to appreciate (drop it in the office by Tuesday, May 7th). List of staff members here
Flower Day- Tuesday, May 7th- Have your child bring a single flower for their teacher/s and anyone else they want to appreciate. You can divide up a bouquet for a few special adults to appreciate if you want!
Let’s come together and shower the Cove Community love on this very special group of people, our faculty and staff, who make such an important difference in our children's lives.
Sincerely,
Michelle Walker, Principal

State Testing For 3rd-5th Graders- Monday, May 13 will begin California Assessment of Student Progress and Performance (CAASPP) testing for 3rd-5th grade students. Testing will occur in the morning between roughly 8:45-10:00am, Monday- Thursday (with some exceptions). ELA (Reading and Writing) is the week of 5/13, Math (and science for 5th grade only) the week of 5/20. At home, please encourage healthy breakfasts and getting to bed early. It is also important to arrive on time and do not schedule morning appointments. Late arrivals will be unsettling to your child and will be disruptive to the testing environment.
