PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear Families,

As the season of giving thanks is upon us, we have much to be grateful for: our incredible community of teachers, staff, parents and- most importantly- students! 

I invite everyone in our community to show their appreciation during the Giving Day Participation Challenge with a financial contribution to SPARK. With everyone’s support, our schools can continue to provide the well-rounded education that every student in our district deserves.  

I am incredibly grateful that funding from SPARK allows us to offer essential programs including music, art, science, and technology along with wellness, counseling, and mindfulness. 

Please join our efforts to support our students with your gift to SPARK so they can continue to receive an excellent and engaging educational experience.

SPARK Giving Day Participation Challenge 60% by Tuesday, November 19th is 2 days away! Click here to see updated numbers. Make your Annual Giving Donation or Pledge on or before Tuesday, November 19th to be included.  

Giving Incentive A generous anonymous donor has pledged to contribute $100 for the next 100 donors, up to $10,000. Let’s make this happen!  

Left Bank Raffle Prize Every family who has made a pledge or donation by November 19th will be entered in a raffle to win a special basket from SPARK Biz Partner Left Bank which includes: three $150 gift cards, Great Chefs of France cookbook, three bottles of wine, two Left Bank Bordeaux wine glasses and Left Bank chocolates, a total value of $650 for the lucky winner! 

We all Scream for Ice Cream Thanks to Shake Shack and Re:THINK ice cream, the rewards for reaching our participation goal will be sweet: Every student will receive a coupon for a free shake courtesy of Shake Shack. The grade level with the highest participation gets an Re:THINK ice cream party!

SCHOOL NEWS

Winter Session Music Enrichment: Frozen Jr. on our Cove Stage! Much like the movie, Frozen Jr. tells the story of two sisters and how love can thaw a frozen heart, bringing light to a cold and dark world.  

• When: Dec 2nd- March 2nd (Mondays 3:00pm-4:15pm, 10 weeks) 

• Performance Date: Thursday, March 5th. No rehearsal on: 11/25, 12/23, 12/30, 1/20,  or 2/17

• Who: 3rd-5th Grade Cove Students

• Where: Derby Den

• Enrollment: Max: 50 Min: 30

• Tuition: $195 Tuition may be submitted through PayPal (cderby@lcmschools.org) or cash in envelope in the front office to secure a spot today!
