New Student Registration for the 2021-2022 School Year is NOW OPEN! Registration for next school year is open for students new to the district in grades K-8. Board Updates The Board met on January 13, 2021 (agenda) and began by celebrating community partners. A COVID Update was presented where cohort closure and in-person data were reviewed, as well as the Phase 1b vaccine. The Board approved a resolution to begin exploring the refinancing of school bonds. The refinance, if approved in February, will result in no savings to the District; the savings will all go to LCM taxpayers and is estimated at $8.2 million. The School Accountability Report Cards and the budget adoption cycle were approved. The Board will hold a Budget Study Session on February 3, 2021.
Coffee Chat On January 14, 2021, Dr. Geithman and the LCMSD Leadership Team held a coffee chat focused on the District’s COVID response, the vaccine, and a budget update. Here is the recording (Passcode: t@BPD!U7) and the slide deck.
