Lost & Found outside at the loop
Assembly, 11:10am, distance learners, please log on
Thank you for supporting us with a successful transition to full classes and a longer school day! Our lunch volunteers rocked it, our staff team was amazingly energetic and flexible, and our teachers were incredible! We did it! I am tremendously grateful for our amazing Cove Learning Community.

Reflections/ Tweaks/ Reminders from this week:
No Early-Release Wednesdays: Our spring schedule is the same Monday-Friday; there is no early release on Wednesdays through the end of the year.
Please make a list to help kids remember all they need in the morning (water bottle, snack, lunch, hat, sunscreen, etc). We have had a lot (23 in the first hour one day!) of forgotten items dropped at the office, requiring each item to be delivered.
Lost and Found: Throughout the week, lost and found items will be on the picnic table out near the blacktop/Cove in Motion stage. On Thursday afternoons, they will be gathered and put on racks that will be wheeled out to the front of the school from 8am-4pm on Fridays.
Playground- No Use After School until 3pm: Families will need to leave after K dismissal because PE is still happening on the playground at that time (Mon- Wed). Families need to leave after 1st-5th grade dismissal until 3:00 because 5G is using the playground, and we cannot co-exist yet (like we have in the past) due to COVID. So sorry for this inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding.
Drop Off & Pickup: Please observe the following school rules:
Getting out of your car in the loop is never allowed. Drop and go. If you need to help your child with sunscreen or other items out of the car, please park in the neighborhood where parking is permitted.
Live double parking is not allowed in the loop - it creates a danger for children.
Do not “live park” in the loop from the blacktop gate entrance to Golden Hind Psge as this creates a traffic hazard.
Parking in staff spaces in the front of the school is not allowed.
Do not block fire hydrants.
Please share with your caregivers. You may be ticketed!
Thank you!
~Michelle Walker, Principal
