Thank you Ms. McKee for designing the clouds, Mr. Ernesto for cutting, painting and hanging the clouds and to our whole committee for your help in bringing this to fruition! Next up? Let's earn the coyote logo mural (sample picture above) by surpassing our Readathon goal!!
Cove Alive! Currently, the Site Council is collaborating with the Cove PTO on a multi-year endeavor called “Cove Alive.” The Cove Alive team strives to design and implement inspiring and interactive enhancements to The Cove’s common spaces that infuse joy and embody our Guiding Principles. Learn more about Cove Alive here!
As we complete our first project (clouds in key areas on campus), we are looking forward to our next project- a coyote mural. If we meet and exceed our Readathon goal, we will be able to paint this logo mural. The class with the most minutes read will get a picture in the yearbook in front of the new mural (with a special coyote speech bubble!). Ms. McKee is ready to paint...Let's earn the mural, coyotes!
Sincerely,
Michelle Walker, Principal

Library Birthday Book Program Through the Library Birthday Book Program at the Cove, hundreds of new books are donated in celebration of many student birthdays. Each month, a flier will be sent home to every student who celebrates a birthday that month. All you have to do is fill out the form, and donate (suggested donation = $20), and return the form to the library or your child’s teacher. Then your child may come to the library to choose his or her book, and receive a commemorative bookplate in the book they choose with their name on it. The December, January, and February birthday forms will be in your child’s backpack this week. You can also pick up a copy at the library. Thank you for your support in this fun program!
