Principal's Message
Our Guiding Principles come to life at Open House:
#1 Experiential Learning- What hands-on, inquiry-based learning has your child engaged in? Classrooms may feature projects they have been exploring, examples of the iterative learning process (drafts, revisions), and the products of their efforts. We aim to highlight the process of learning, not just the end products.
#2 Social-Emotional Growth- How does your child practice being mindful, effectively participating in a group, proactive self-regulation and taking risks?
#3 Creativity- How does your child think outside the box, explore multiple solutions to problems, or share their learning in unique ways? At Open House you will get to see the arts in action:

#4 Community- Take this chance to deepen community connections with your children’s classmates and teachers.

Our talented Coyotes took to the stage on Friday in
Ms. Derby's production of Mary Poppins Jr.! Bravo to all!
Lost and Found is Overflowing! Please take a look through our racks. We have returned all labels- items that remain are unlabeled! For April, we will host one more walk though, and then in May will host a Lost & Found Sale. For June, any remaining items will be donated.
Be On Time! We have new bells (the sound is not adjustable, they are long and loud) at 8:10 and 8:15. This is to give students a warning when it's time to go into class and a bell that makes it clear who is and is not on time. This will help us with clarity around marking students tardy. School starts at 8:15 every day!
No Parking in the Loop There have been a few cars parking in the loop, causing congestion and a dangerous situation. NO one may park in the loop. It is only for drop off and pick up. Do not leave your car- just like the airport. Thank you!
Don't Forget to Buy Your Student a Cove Yearbook - ON SALE NOW! The deadline for ordering yearbooks is April 10th...but since the final week of the sale is Spring Break, stop procrastinating and get yours today! Round One of registration will close on April 15. Families with students currently attending our schools and have an incoming student should register ASAP!
