Getting Back Into the Routine
Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful winter break. I am excited to see all of your children Tuesday morning to kick off an amazing 2023!
Arrive on Time for School! Has your morning routine been creeping back, taking longer? It’s time to readjust and commit to being on time! Your child needs to be at school by 8:10 in order to drop their backpack off and be on the blacktop ready to go at 8:15 sharp. Missing a few minutes of Cove in Motion (CIM) is not okay. Your child is marked tardy if they are not here and ready to go from the start of CIM.
Please adjust your morning routines accordingly and do whatever it takes to be here on time. Please help your children instill this important skill that will help them for life. Thank you for your commitment and support on behalf of the kids.
Cove in Motion- Parent Participation If you choose to stay in the vicinity for Cove in Motion, we expect you to participate fully. This includes not talking/ socializing. Socializing builds community, and it is welcomed…however, you must leave the blacktop area to do so. Please say goodbye to your child at the start of Cove in Motion so that you can leave to have conversations. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Michelle Walker, Principal
